Welcome to Yoga at Studio 10
Welcome to your calm corner in downtown New Bedford. Here, yoga meets you exactly where you are - no pretzels, no pressure, just mindful movement, deep breaths, and space to unwind. Come as you are and leave feeling a little lighter.
Hi, I’m Rebecca
I believe yoga is for every body - a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself. After years of working a stressful desk job that took a toll on my body and mind, I turned to yoga to find balance; and now I love helping others do the same.
My classes focus on breathwork, mindfulness, and slow, intentional movement that helps you disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. I especially enjoy practicing and teaching Yin and Restorative Yoga, creating space for calm, rest, and peace.
For the past 20 years, I’ve called New Bedford home. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and three rescue pups or paddleboarding when the weather’s warm and sunny.

Monthly Women’s Circle
Our Monthly Women’s Circle is a nurturing gathering created to offer a calm, supportive space for connection, rest, and self-exploration. In collaboration with Karissa of @pineapplesagehealingservices, this offering is an invitation to slow down, step away from daily demands, and reconnect with yourself and community.
Each circle will unfold a little differently, guided by the season, the group, and the intention of the gathering. Practices may include gentle movement, meditation, energy-based practices, sound, time in nature, creative or reflective experiences, and opportunities for quiet connection or shared conversation. Some gatherings may take place in the studio, while others may be held outdoors or in the wider community.
You can expect a welcoming atmosphere where participation is always optional and you are encouraged to listen to your own needs. We often close with time for reflection, journaling, or simple conversation, allowing space to integrate the experience in a way that feels supportive and easeful.
This circle is open to anyone seeking connection, grounding, and a sense of belonging. No prior experience with yoga, meditation, or any of the practices offered is necessary. Come as you are.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice designed to help you unwind, release tension, and reconnect with your body. In this 60-minute class, postures are held for longer periods of time while you remain mostly seated or lying down. The focus is not on strength or flexibility, but on gentle, sustained stretching and deep rest.
This class is accessible to all bodies and all experience levels. Modifications are always offered, and you are encouraged to listen to your body and choose what feels supportive. Props are available in the studio, including mats, bolsters, knee cushions, straps, blocks, blankets, and meditation cushions. You are also welcome to bring your own blanket, towel, or pillow if you want to increase your cozy factor.
Yin Yoga works with the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as fascia, joints, and ligaments, rather than targeting muscles alone. By holding poses for longer periods, the nervous system has time to settle, allowing for both physical release and mental calm.
