Hi, I’m Rebecca

I believe yoga is for every body - a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself. After years of working a stressful desk job that took a toll on my body and mind, I turned to yoga to find balance; and now I love helping others do the same.

My classes focus on breathwork, mindfulness, and slow, intentional movement that helps you disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. I especially enjoy practicing and teaching Yin and Restorative Yoga, creating space for calm, rest, and peace.

For the past 20 years, I’ve called New Bedford home. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and three rescue pups or paddleboarding when the weather’s warm and sunny.

Gentle Yoga Movement Level: Gentle | All Levels Welcome

A slow, mindful practice designed to help you move with ease and intention. Gentle Yoga meets you where you are — offering accessible poses, breathing cues, and space to simply be in your body. Whether you're brand new to yoga, returning after time away, or just need a softer pace, this class is your sanctuary.

$15 per class

Yin Yoga Movement Level: Gentle | All Levels Welcome

Settle in, slow down, and let go. Yin Yoga uses long-held, floor-based poses to release tension in the deeper connective tissues of the body. This is a practice of stillness, patience, and quiet self-reflection — as much for the mind as it is for the body. Props are always encouraged.

$15 per class

Restorative Yoga (Special Event) Movement Level: Gentle | All Levels Welcome

Deeply supported. Completely still. Fully held. Restorative Yoga uses bolsters, blankets, and blocks to cradle the body in poses of total ease, activating the parasympathetic nervous system and inviting profound rest. A perfect reset for anyone carrying stress, fatigue, or simply the weight of a full life.

Sound Bath (Special Event) Movement Level: None | All Levels Welcome

No movement required — just arrive and receive. A Sound Bath is a fully immersive, meditative experience using singing bowls, resonant instruments, and healing frequencies to guide you into deep relaxation. You'll rest comfortably while sound washes over and through you, quieting the mind and restoring the body.

Yoga Nidra (Special Event) Movement Level: None | All Levels Welcome

Known as "yogic sleep," Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice done lying down in complete stillness. Through a systematic body scan and awareness techniques, you're led to the threshold between waking and sleep — a state of deep rest where the nervous system can truly restore. No experience necessary. You can't do it wrong.

Private Yoga (By Appointment | Individual or Small Group)‍ ‍Movement Level: Gentle to Moderate | All Levels Welcome

A yoga experience crafted entirely for you. Private sessions are tailored to your body, your goals, and your pace — whether you're working through an injury, deepening your practice, or simply craving more personalized guidance. Available for individuals or small groups. A beautiful option for friends, partners, or anyone who wants a more individualized yoga experience. Reiki(By Appointment)Movement Level: None | All Levels Welcome

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-near) energy healing practice that supports the body's natural ability to restore balance and well-being. During a session, you'll rest fully clothed as universal life energy is channeled through intentional touch and presence. Deeply calming and profoundly subtle, Reiki works on the physical, emotional, and energetic body — leaving you feeling grounded, clear, and at ease. Studio Policies (Please Read Before Signing Up)
These guidelines help us create a calm, safe, and supportive space for everyone.

  • • Please sign up at least 15 minutes before class begins.
    This helps us prepare the space and know who to expect.

    • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early.
    The outside door locks at the start of class so we can begin together without interruptions and to respect everyone’s time.

    • If you are starting a new exercise or movement routine, please check with your healthcare provider.
    This ensures your practice supports your health and feels safe for your body.

    • Please avoid wearing strong fragrances.
    Some students are sensitive to scents, and we want the environment to remain comfortable for all.

    • If you need to cancel, please do so at least 15 minutes before class begins.
    We understand that life happens. Canceling ahead of time helps us plan the session and prevents unnecessary studio closures.

    • Classes may be canceled if no one is signed up 15 minutes before start time.
    This allows the instructor to plan accordingly.

    • Please remove your shoes when entering the studio.
    This keeps our practice space clean and comfortable.

    • Please silence your cell phone before class begins.
    This helps maintain a peaceful and distraction-free environment.

    • If you’re not feeling well, please rest at home.
    We want you to take care of yourself and help keep our community healthy.

    • Studio props are available for your use.
    Mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps are provided. Please treat props with care and wipe down anything you use at the end of class.
